Curious Case Of Bhaagamathie Bungalow

Anushka has become one of the hottest stars in Tollywood and her Bhaagaamathie is one of most anticipated films of the year. An interesting fact about the film was shared by the director, Ashok.

They were searching for a proper setting to shoot some scenes of Bhaagamathie, relating to 500 BC. Since it was difficult to find a location to match the scene, they decided to build a set on 28,000 sq yards.The scene features 12 rooms plus a lift to boot. Well, it's one of those manual, rope-pulley lifts. We will get to see all these scenes and more in Bhaagamathie.

The period film has grand buildings and in one such frame the makers used multiple colors for one such spectacular structure. They have completed the whole set with the help of 200 people within 29 days by working round the clock. Bhaagamathei is produced by UV Creations. The production house is said to have spent generously on some lavish sets--as much as approximately Rs 3 Cr in the case of one, which will be among the highlights of the movie.

Apart from Anushka, Bhaagamathie will star Unni Mukundan, Aadhi and Jayaram in meaty roles. It is all set to arrive in theatres on January 26 as a Republic Day treat to audiences. Watch this space for Bhaagamathie review.
