Crop loan waiver: Farmers lay a siege to govt banks in Nellore

Delay in loan waiver keeps farmers at Podalakurur village in Nellore district on tenterhooks.

Angered over the delay, the farmers on Thursday laid seize to several government banks demanding a clarity on the loan waiver.
The agitational programmes were held under the leadership of YSRCP MLA Kakani Govardhan Reddy.
It is clearly shows that the banks have adopted a wait and watch policy before issuing any fresh loans. The bankers made it clear to the farmers that government has not given any clearity on the loan waiver scheme.
Speaking to farmers, the YSRCP MLA said that Chandrababu has been deceiving the farmers by adopting the escaping ways.
