VISAKHAPATNAM: In a video that is being circulated on social media shows a sadistic group of boys brutally thrashing another person for not repaying a hand loan. The incident, which took place at Rajeev Grihakalpa colony in Marikavalasa at the outskirts of Visakhapatnam, had recently come to light after the video went viral.

In the video, a young boy is seen tied to a tree and a gang of rowdies are seen beating him indiscriminately.

As per police reports, the boy named Danteswararam who belonged to Marikavalasa was beaten up for not returning money which he had apparently borrowed from them.

The rowdy gang tied him to a tree and were seen taunting him as they were torturing him. One of the boys is seen picking a up a huge stone and attempts to hit him with it , but refrains. At one point one of them also ties a rope around his neck and strangles him till he starts struggling to breathe.

After the video went viral, police swung into action identified four of the boys and took them into custody. Two of them were said to be minors.

Police say that since the past six months, a group of local boys formed into a group and were indulging in rowdyism.
