Woman Alleges IPS Probationer Of Cheating On Her For Better Dowry

HYDERABAD: A 28-year-old woman, Birudala Bhavana alleged that her husband Mahesh  Reddy, IPS probationer from Kadapa, of cheating, and lodged a complaint with Jawahar Nagar Police Station.

A case has been registered against Mahesh Reddy under -A, 323,506IPC, 3(1), 3(r), 3(s),3(2),(V)(a)SC ST POA ACT on October 27, 2019.

She alleged that her husband cheated on her with another woman as he is being offered huge amount in dowry from the next marriage proposal.

She took to Twitter, saying that Mahesh Reddy and she were in a relationship for nine years before they tied the knot on 8 February 2019.

Police said that the FIR has been registered and an investigation is underway.
