Chanchalguda Jail Prisoner Attacks Warden 

Hyderabad: A jail inmate has been booked at the Chanchalguda central prison in Hyderabad allegedly for attack on jail warden.

According to police, the prisoner, Goli Rajesh who is a convict in a theft case was recently shifted to the prison from Warangal.

Police Inspector N Satyanarayana said a news agency that the inmate attacked Head Warden Satyanarayana as his name was not cleared for a telephone call which he was entitled for, on time. The warden had minor bruises on his cheeks.

The convict has been booked under IPC section 332 (voluntarily causing hurt to deter public servant from his duty).
