Nizamabad Rural Tahsildar Commits Suicide

Nizamabad: Jwala Giridhar Rao who was working as the Nizamabad Rural Tahsildar committed suicide by allegedly hanged himself at his residence in Arya Nagar in Nizamabad city, on Wednesday night.

Getting into details, Giridhar Rao a native of Ramagiri Mandal in Nalgonda district ,was working as the Nizamabad Rural Tahsildar for the past one year while his family members resided in Hyderabad. He was living alone in a rented residence. Personal reasons are suspected to have driven him to suicide, police said.

Suspecting something amiss as he didn't open the doors on Thursday morning, his neighbours came to check on him and found Giridhar Rao hanging to the ceiling fan and immediately alerted the police. Nizamabad four-town police are inquiring into the incident. Nizamabad collector M Rammohan Rao visited the spot to enquire about the incident about the suicide. Personal reasons are suspected to have driven him to suicide, is what the police are suspecting.
