Man Gang-raped By Drug Addicts Near Sagar Vihar Lake In Mumbai

Mumbai: In a horrific incident, a 32-year-old man was allegedly gang-raped by five drug addicts near Vashi Sagar Vihar's lake while he went out for evening walk after office.

The incident happened on Monday night at around 9 pm and police have filed a case against five unidentified men.

Police identified that man who works as an administrator in a private company in Belapur and went to Sagar Vihar for a walk. When he did not return in the evening, his family lodged a complaint, police said.

Later, someone informed police that he was found at Sagar Vihar.

He was later taken to a private hospital and doctors removed a dry coconut shell from his body.

Officials from the hospital told a lading daily that the man was brought in a very serious condition and had several marks in his body.

Probe underway.
