Nellore Woman Allegedly Shot Dead By Employer In Saudi Arabia

Nellore: A woman from Nellore district, who went to Saudi Arabia in search of work, was allegedly shot by her employer there.

The deceased was identified as 40-year-old G Ramanamma of Chabolu village of Marripadu Mandal, according to a leading daily.

The killing reportedly happened three days back, but her family members came to know about the incident after receiving a call from co-workers later.

Reports suggest that she had gone to the Gulf to work. After the death of her husband, she went there, leaving her two sons and a daughter, in the care of her relatives in the village.

She had gone to Saudi through a middleman from Atmakur. Police is trying to contact the agent to get more details.

Her family members have alleged that she was harassed by her employer. Meanwhile, they have requested the government to expedite the process of helping them to get back her body to the village.
