Hayathnagar Kidnapper Information Can Make You A Lakhpati: Tirupati Cops

Hyderabad: Tirupati police has announced Rs one lakh reward to anyone who can trace the accused involved in the kidnapping of 21-year-old B Pharmacy student, Soni, from Hyderabad on July 23.

Tirupati police have released the photo of accused 45-year-old Itham Ravi Shankar on Sunday on request of the Hyderabad police to nab the culprit in case he has fled to Tirupati.

Shankar had kidnapped the girl in Hayathnagar in Hyderabad on July 23 after he duped the family saying he would provide the girl with a job at a hospital.

Shankar had introduced to the girl's father, who is a tea vendor, as a doctor working in a Hyderabad hospital. Police said that he used a white Hyundai i20 Asta car, bearing registration number AP39AQ1686, for kidnapping the girl.

Police have requested the public to give any information about the accused and have offered Rs one lakh as a reward. The identity of the informer will also be kept confidential.
