Karnataka Man Dies After Wife Slaps Him

Yeswanthpur: A man succumbed to death after being slapped by his wife. Going into details, the incident took place in Chamarajanagar town in Karnataka.

Hailing from Uttaravalli village, the man identified as Prabhu Swamy came home in an intoxicated condition on a daily basis. As usual, he got drunk on Saturday night as well and returned home. Subsequently, he got into an argument with his wife, Ambika. Unable to deal with the constant harassment, the woman smacked her husband on his cheek. Prabhu Swamy collapsed immediately and died on the spot.

Frightened with the turn of events, Ambika narrated the incident claiming that her husband hanged himself to death. Prabhu Swamy's younger brother suspected something fishy in the story and lodged a complaint with the police. A case has been registered against the accused, Ambika and she has been arrested by the police.
