Abducted Infant found in Kamareddy

An eight-day-old infant girl which had been abducted from Sangareddy government hospital was rescued by police in Kamareddy. The infant was stolen from Special Newborn Care Unit at Mother and Child Care Centre on Tuesday. Police found the baby in Sivanagar at Yellareddy Mandal in Kamareddy district at the residence of Bangaru Santhosh and Sobha.

Sandalwood Smugglers Nabbed

The Andhra Pradesh task Force Police on Thursday arrested six sandalwood smugglers from Jandlavaram forest area in Mydakuru mandal of Kadapa district. The police who were combing the forest spotted the smugglers before they tried to flee. Twelve sandalwood logs were recovered.
