Nellore Rainbow Hospital Is Fake: Brand

Hyderabad-based Rainbow Children’s Hospital has filed a police complaint under the Trademarks Act of 1999, against a Nellore hospital which used the same brand name.

They had alleged that patients are made to believe they are being treated in the same hospital like the ones in Hyderabad.

The complaint was filed with the police by the Rainbow Children’s Hospital Banjara Hills after a complaint was received that their Nellore branch was not up to the mark.

After investigations, it was found that KIDZ Rainbow Children and Baby Hospital was misleading patients with the same name, alleged Rainbow Children’s Medicare Private Limited.

The Hospital has also alleged that this was done with a fraudulent motive and dishonest intent. It had created confusion in the minds of people because the same name was being used.

The police case has led to the seizure of hard drives, bill books and prescription pads of the KIDZ Rainbow Children and Baby Hospital in Nellore.

Action was initiated by the management as many notices were sent despite which the name had not been changed. The management is now mulling legal action against the hospital in Nellore.
