Nurse Crossing Railway Tracks With Headphones On Hit By MMTS At Khairatabad 

A 25-year-old woman died after being hit by an MMTS train at Khairatabad. The deceased, identified as Rekha Mahal, was working as a nurse at global hospitals in Lakdi-ka-pul.

According to the police, the accident occurred at 8 am while she was going over to theother side of the level crossing at Khairatabad.

She was on her way back home from the gym when the incident happened. Rekha had headphones on and so did not notice or hear the train approaching.

The train that hit Rekha was said to be heading to Nampally from Lingampally. She was shifted to a hospital where she succumbed to severe injuries on her head.
