Minor Maid Raped By AP Govt Official Pregnant

Krishna: A government employee from Andhra Pradesh's Krishna district allegedly impregnated a minor girl. The incident took place in Gilakala Dindi village and it came to light on Thursday during a preliminary medical examination when the doctors at a government hospital confirmed the pregnancy.

Based on the medical report, the police officials began an investigation into the matter. According to the news agency ANI report, the victim along with her mother worked at the accused's house as domestic help. The victim's mother revealed that the accused called the 16-year-old girl during the night and sexually abused her.

When the police received the information regarding the incident, they learned that the victim was three months pregnant. A case has been registered against the government employee, working in Kalikipudi and the investigation is underway.

A similar case was reported in Tamil Nadu where a class XII student was taken into custody for impregnating a minor girl.

Both the boy and girl are students of a government higher secondary school near Melur. The minor girl's parents recently discovered that she was eight months pregnant.
