Hyderabad Real Estate Company Under IT Lens For Benami Transactions 

The Income-Tax (IT) officials are conducting search operations in the houses and offices of a realtor from Hyderabad by the name Sridhar.

According to the IT sources, this investigation has been on since Wednesday evening. The Income-tax teams are searching Sridhar’s house in Jubilee Hills and in Sandhya Convention Offices at Madhapur, Raidurgam and Gachibowli.

The IT department has also been conducting searches of four other houses that belong to other partners of Sridhar. The IT Sleuths found that Sridhar, on behalf of the others, was indulging in benami real estate business.

They are being quizzed to get more clarity on the benami transactions. According to sources, they have seized many key documents pertaining to the benami business.
