Man Killed As Unidentified Vehicle Rams Into Bike In Prakasam

Prakasam: One person was killed and another seriously injured when the bike they were traveling was hit by an unidentified vehicle. The incident occurred in front of the Siddhartha High School at Hanuman Junction (Kunta), Tokapalli Panchayat of Prakasam district on Saturday morning.

According to the locals, Polasetti Venkatesh (18) was heading to Yerragondapalem along with his relative, Sivakumar on a motorcycle when an unidentified vehicle rammed into their vehicle.

Venkatesh suffered severe head injuries due to which he succumbed to death on the spot. Sivakumar also sustained serious injuries and his condition is said to be critical.

The incident is learned to have taken place due to the sudden rush of dust clouding the road, however, the driver of the vehicle left the scene immediately after the accident. The police reached the spot of the incident and a case was registered in this regard. Further investigation is underway.
