NRI Chigurupati Jayaram Death: Police Piecing Together Bits Of Puzzle

Hyderabad/Nandigama: Police are learnt to be probing the mysterious death of NRI Chigurupati Jayaram and are hopeful of piecing together bits of the puzzle soon. Jayaram's body was found in a car on the Vijayawada-Hyderabad highway near Nandigama. Jayaram was a director of Coastal Bank and also owned a pharmaceutical company called Hemarus, apart from being the managing director of Express TV.

The cops are interrogating Jayaram's niece Shrikha Chowdary and her boyfriend in this case. Police are also scrutinising the call data records of the deceased. They suspect that Jayaram who appeared to have bled from the nose could have been smothered or given a drink laced with alcohol. The cops who scanned CCTV footage at toll plazas came to the conclusion that there were at least two others with Jayaram in the car including a woman.

Police are probing the case from all angles.
