Man Consumes Acid Instead Of Water, Dies

Hyderabad: A man succumbed to death after unknowingly consuming acid instead of water.

The deceased, Vijay Kumar Swamy, an auto-rickshaw driver, consumed acid by mistake after pouring in acid instead of water in the alcohol, he consumed late on Sunday in Chandrayan Gutta.

Vijay Kumar immediately alerted his family after experiencing burns in his throat and was shifted to the Osmania General Hospital.

However, he succumbed to the injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital on Monday. The incident came to light on Tuesday after the police registered a case.
