Kamineni Medico Killed In Nalgonda Road Accident

Nalgonda: A medical student was killed in a road accident and two of her classmates were injured when an unidentified vehicle rammed into them on National Highway 65 near AP Lingotam of Narketpally in Nalgonda on Sunday.

The three of them were Interns at Kamineni Medical College and as per the Narketpally police officials, the victim K Sravanthi, a native of Itchada village died on the spot whereas P Ramya and Navaya Jyothi ( both from Hyderabad) suffered grave injuries.

The mishap took place when they were returning after having breakfast at a hotel located near AP Lingotam which was beside the National Highway, As they entered the bridge, a speeding vehicle rammed their two-wheeler from the rear.

The three students were triple riding without a helmet on the vehicle at the time of the accident. The Narketpally police have registered a case under Section 304 (a) IPC (Causing death by negligence) and 337 (causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others) IPC and further investigation is underway.
