Chilkalguda Man Falls Off Terrace While Flying Kite

Hyderabad:  The first kite-flying casualty on the eve of Sankranti was reported in the Chilkalaguda Police limits on Sunday evening. Sayyed Khalid Imran ( 27) was a scrap dealer who was living in a rented house in Warasiguda area in Hyderabad.

On Sunday evening he was flying kites along with his friends on the terrace of his house. As he was standing at the edge of the terrace while flying the kite where the railing was very low, he stepped further and fell down and hit the compound wall. He suffered a severe head injury and was immediately taken to the hospital by his family members and friends. But he died while undergoing treatment in the evening around 6 PM.

Chilkalaguda Police reached the spot to verify details about the incident and later shifted the body to Gandhi hospital for post mortem. The entire family of Khalid was shocked as he was married only six months ago.
