Hindupur Anna Canteen Running Prostitution Racket?
Hindupur: A prostitution racket was busted at a Anna Canteen in Hindupur district. The Anna Canteen which was one of the promises made by the Telugu Desam Party in 2014 had managed to open 60 of them four years after the promise was made in June 2018.
Reports say that prostitution was taking place at the Anna Canteen in the Government Hospital of Hindupur, Nandamuri Balakrishna's constituency. Locals were complaining for quite some time but no action was taken. On Saturday night the locals caught the night watchman Jayaram with another woman in a compromising position and informed the media.
When they were questioned by the media and people around them, they gave irrelevant answers which led to further doubts. But what led to further suspicion was that when the locals called the police to arrest them, it is learnt they were let off even without proper interrogation or questioning.
