One Killed, Others Injured In Car Accident Involving Ayyappa Devotees From YSR Kadapa

Kerala: Just three days after ten Ayyappa devotees from Telangana were killed in a fatal road accident on Tirumayam by-pass road in Pudukottai district of Tamil Nadu , another accident occurred in Kerala. A group of Ayyappa devotees from Chinna Mandem mandal, YSR Kadapa district who were travelling to Sabarimala met with an accident when the car in which they were travelling fell into a gorge on Wednesday.

One person was killed and more than three people were seriously injured in the incident. The victim who died was identified as Krishna and the injured were Gopalu, Krishnaniah and Venkatamma. The locals had assisted the police in the rescue operations and shifted the injured persons to the local hospital.
