Anantapur: A woman killed her husband after he misbehaved with their daughter.The incident took place near Kalyanadurgam road, Anantapuram district. The deceased was identified as Sadasiva Reddy, a sports teacher at Kothacheruvu district high school.

He was married to Shobha twenty five years ago. After five years of his marriage, he got addicted to alcohol and had extra-marital-affairs with few women. He later started living with another woman.

He would visit his home once a week and beat up his wife and daughter in the inebriated stage. On Wednesday night, after consuming alcohol, he visited Shobharani's house and argued with her. Later, he misbehaved with their own daughter. Unable to bear the harassment of her husband, Shobharani hit Sadasiva Reddy with a wooden reaper. A severely injured Reddy died on the spot. The incident came to light on Thursday. The police reached the spot and sent the body to government hospital for post-mortem. CI Aarohana Rao said that they were investigating the case in all possible ways.

Recently, in a similar incident, A class 11 girl was gangraped by four engineering students who later dumped her near Kanpur's Babupurwa police station. The victim's father was a police Inspector who lodged a complaint against one of the accused Anurag Yadav and his friends Jackie, Shubham and Abhishek. They were identified as B Tech students from different colleges.

SP Sanjiv said that all the four accused were taken to the custody and are being interrogated. The girl knew one of the accused who coaxed her. On Tuesday evening, he took her to a flat and raped along with his friends.
