Srikalahasti: "You are beautiful, Your voice is sweet, I like you a lot..!", These are the messages from the former member of the Srikalahasti Devasthanam Trust Board and a popular TDP leader sent to a lady bank manager. According to sources, the woman was already married and also has two children.

The TDP leader who texted her indecent words on Thursday night around 11:30 pm also had an account in the respective bank. The woman was shocked at the indecent messages which she saw on her mobile on Friday morning.

She informed her husband who argued with the accused along with his colleagues. He also filed a complaint in the police station and asked them to take immediate action. When the incident went viral in Srikalahasti, the local TDP leaders were shocked. Four other TDP leaders intervened in the matter with elections bearing down on Andhra Pradesh.

It is learned that they pressurized her in a phone call to withdraw the complaint. It is also learned that the TDP leaders failed to convince her husband during a meeting at a hotel.

DSP Rama Krishnaiah said that a sexual harassment case under section 354 A has been filed against the Devasthanam Trust Board member and TDP leader Athinjiri Balaji. "Based on a complaint given by the woman bank manager, we will take action against the accused," said the police.
