Kalvakurthi: Two people were dead and another two severely injured in a car accident that occured at Cherkuru gate. According to the police, the deceased Kudumula Ravinder Reddy (50) and Challa Sudhakar Reddy (55) belonged to Kalvakurthi. They were said to be realtors. The car also carried Simha Reddy and Sudarshan Reddy who were injured and admitted in the hospital. They were visiting a land near Kalvakurthi on Tuesday morning and were returning to Hyderabad.

The driver suddenly lost control of the steering and the speeding car rammed into a tree. During the accident, four of them got seriously injured and with the help of locals they were shifted to Kalvakurthi government hospital. But the doctors declared Sudhakar Reddy and Ravinder Reddy were brought dead. The others were shifted to Hyderabad for treatment. Based on a complaint given by the deceased's family, the police filed a case and started probing the case.

In another incident, one person was killed while another was injured in a road accident that took place under the limits of Dodda police station which is near to the Bengaluru. According to the police, the youths were twins born to Madanmohan and Sowbhagya. Sai Harshit and Sai Harthik pursuing their third year BE Computer Science at Geetham University, Bengaluru. On Tuesday while on their way to college, a van hit them from behind. While Harshit died on the spot, Harthik was severely injured. The Bengaluru police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. The police filed a case and started the investigation.
