Mancherial: A girl committed suicide over mobilephone. The incident took place on Sunday at Mancherial. According to the police and the family members, the deceased Suchita (19) was pursuing her Degree first year. She was the eldest daughter of Kambham Damodar Reddy who is the principal at a private college.

On Saturday night, when Suchita and her sister Hasini were fighting ovwr the mobile, their father intervened in the matter and warned asked them to prepare for examinations which were around the corner. The girl who was upset after the fight with her parents, left home on Satruday night around 10 pm. On Sunday morning, her dead body was found on the railway tracks. The police filed a case and started probing the matter.

In a similar incident, a girl committed suicide by immolating herself here on Kondakal at Shankarapalli mandal. According to CI Lingaiah, the deceased Shruti (20) was chatting with her friends on Saturday morning. Her mother learned of the matter and took her mobile phone from her. Her mother asked her who she was chatting with.

A depressed Shruti doused kerosene on herself and committed suicide when she was alone. Based on a complaint given by her mother, the police filed a case and started the investigation.
