Three people were killed in a horrific road accident at Nallagattu in Mahabubnagar. According to the police, the deceased along with three more friends had gone for to spend the weekend at Goa.

They were identified as Avinash, Anil and Arvind who used to work as software employees. The other three, Manikanta, Kamesh and Mahesh were also severely injured and were shifted to Mahabubnagar government hospital for treatment. All of them were natives of Rampachodavaram, East Godavari district.

It is learned that the reason behind the accident was high speed. The car was completely damaged. The locals claim that a culvert under construction is a point prone to accidents. The police filed a case and started probing the matter.

Four youth were killed and one person seriously injured when the car they were traveling in was hit by a private travels bus in Kothapalli Circle on the outskirts of Highway No 44.

They were traveling back home in their car after attending Jana Sena Party chief's Pawan Kalyan's march held in Anantapur when a travel bus which was coming from Hyderabad to Bengaluru crashed into their car, killing four of them on the spot. The victims were identified as Hanumanthu (31), Govindu (29), Moulali (31)and Madhu (32), who belonged to Goverdhanagiri and Dharnavaram villages in Veldurthi Mandal.

The driver Mallikarjuna who was severely injured was taken to Kurnool Government Hospital for treatment. SP Fakirappa and DSP Khadar Bhasha and other local police officials visited the accident site and enquired about the accident. The bodies were sent for post mortem to the Government Hospital.
