Love-Lorn Couple Commit Suicide On Rail Tracks In Kuppam

Chittoor: A couple committed suicide on Wednesday morning at Kuppam railway track. KS Hemanth Kumar (22) and Monisha (19) who were in love from four years belonged to the same caste and believed that their parents would accept the marriage proposal. But the girl's parents forced her to marry another man. The couple requested them several times but they disagreed. According to head constable Nagaraju of Kuppam Police Station , the couple were in love with each other for the past four years and asked their parents to marry them two months ago. The girl's parents rejected the proposal since Hemanth was unemployed.

Depressed Hemanth Kumar and Monisha went to Kuppam railway station and took a platform ticket and stayed there on Tuesday night. In the early hours of Wednesday at Dalawayikothapalli railway gate, the couple were found dead on the railway tracks. The police learnt about the matter and reached the spot and collected the details. They informed the family members of Hemanth and Monisha and shifted the bodies to Kuppam area hospital for postmortem. The police filed a case of Suicide and started probing the matter.
