Father Rapes, Impregnates Minor In Kadiri, Anantapur

Kadiri: Another horrific incident of minor- child -rape came to light in Kadiri, Anantapur district, where a 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped and impregnated by her father. The incident came to light on Monday, when the girl complained of giddiness. She was promptly rushed to a hospital by members of her school staff. The doctors, on examining the child, informed the school management that the minor girl was pregnant.

Upon being counselled and asked by the school management as to what happened, the Class 9 student revealed that her father had been sexually assaulting her for some time. She also told them that he had also threatened to kill her if she discussed this matter with anyone.

Her father and the accused, is a daily wage labourer. He rebutted allegations made by his daughter. He in turn, alleged that because he scolded her for her closeness to boys from her class that she was making these accusations.
