Judicial Remand Of YS Jagan Attacker Srinivasa Rao Ends Today

Visakhapatnam: The Judicial remand of the main accused,  J Srinivasa Rao in the attack of the Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly and YSR Congress party (YSRCP) chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, ends today. The Airport police are expected to bring him for hearing at the Vizag 3rd Metropolitan Magistrate Court today.

The advocate on behalf Srinivasa Rao, Salim had applied for bail but was rejected again by the court and in this context his judicial remand may  extend to another 14 days.

YSRC Party leader Malla Vijaya Prasad, who was one of the main eyewitnesses to the attack on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the Visakhapatnam airport has also sought time to record his statement before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) which is probing the case. He has requested 15 days time as YS Jagan's writ petition was pending before the High Court, which comes up for hearing on November 27, he explained.
