Decomposed Body Of Ex-IPS Officer’s Son Found In Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A suspicious decomposed body was found on Wednesday at Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.

According to the Banjara Hills ACP K Srinvasa Rao, the man was identified as M Harihar Reddy (52) son of ex-IPS officer MLN Reddy and relative of former DGP Dinesh Reddy. "He seems to have locked himself in the residence and the probe reveals that he died four days back," said the police.

R Govinda Reddy, Banjara Hills police inspector said that the victim has been living alone for the past one year along with his pet dog as his wife left him.

"The neigbours noticed a foul smell emanating from the house and informed the victim's brother Rahul who reached the house on Wednesday morning and broke the doors and found his brother's decomposed body. The victim reportedly had told with his neighbour that he suffers with chest pains and they suspect that he died due to heart attack. There were no suicide notes and no injuries on his body, said the police." He added that the cause of death will be revealed after the autopsy.

As per the reports, the body meddled with his dog. Based on the complaint given by Rahul, the police filed a case under section 174 (Suspicious death) of CrPC and the body was shifted to the hospital for postmortem.
