Alcoholic Commits Suicide In Hyderabad
Hyderabad: A man committed suicide by hanging himself on Sunday at Jeedimetla.
According to the police, the deceased was identified as Pavan who married to Baindla Swapna seven years ago. Pavan is an alcoholic and got estranged from his family.
"One year ago, the couple got into several arguments over financial matters. Pavan left his house and used to fall in front of shops after getting drunk. When he needed money, he would either go to work or fight with his wife and snatch her money. Swapna works in a hospital canteen, said the police. Swapna lodged a complaint that her husband committed suicide by hanging. A case was filed under section CrPC 174.
Recently, in a similar incident, Depressed over losing her cell phone, A 10th class girl committed suicide. The incident took place on Thursday at Mysuru, Karnataka. The deceased Nikhita (16) was in her 10th class in a private school at Gayatripuram.
On Wednesday after a conversation with her brother Babloo, she found her mobile missing. Since the phone was gifted by her beloved father, she felt depressed losing it and committed suicide by hanging herself when she was alone at the house. The police filed a case and started probing the matter.
