Hyderabad Student Trying To Break Into ATMs Arrested

Hyderabad: CCTV footage has helped Hyderabad police crack yet another case here on Thursday. The police nabbed a student who attempted to loot an ATM which is under Meerpet police station limits. The police arrested the accused on Thursday.

The accused was identified as G Sravan Kumar (22) who is pursuing his degree course and lives in RN Reddy colony, Meerpet. According to the police, Sravan Kumar tried to break the Axis bank ATM near TKR college on Monday night. He also tried his luck at VV Nagar in Saroornagar.

N Yadaiah, inspector of police said, "The Axis bank staff of Mumbai found out about the incident and sent the CCTV footage to the police to nab the criminal. Police tracked down the accused and nabbed him."

The police filed a case under the section of IPC 380 and further probe is underway.
