School Bus Overturns Near Dachepally After Driver Loses Control Of Wheel

Guntur: More than six students were injured after a school bus in which they were travelling in, overturned near Dachepalli in Guntur district, on Wednesday.

Dachepalli SI Sk Md Rafi said that the bus which was on its way to Dachepalli from Gogulapadu, reached Alugumillupadu village in Dachepalli mandal when the gear got stuck and the driver couldn't steer the vehicle leading to the bus turning turtle.

The police said that the bus belonged to Geeta Gurukulam School and most of the kids who were on it were students of Classes 6, 7 and 8. The children escaped with minor injuries. Eye witnesses at the spot of accident rushed the kids to the hospital and the injured were shifted to a private hospital in Dachepalli. A case of negligence was registered against the driver and the school management.
