Jagtial: A student who is not interested in his studies committed suicide by immolating himself. The incident took place on Wednesday Jagtial. Recently, two 10th class students from Jagtial committed suicide in the same manner.

The deceased Durgapu Jagadeesh (15) is a 10th class student. He was in depression for some time since he was not interested in studies. His parents learned about him and sent him to school by convincing him.

Meanwhile, he got 15 days holidays during the Dussehra festival and later didn't like to go for school when the school reopened. He thought his parents would send him to the school again and decided to commit suicide. On Wednesday, at mission compound in district headquarters, he immolated himself in a secluded place.

The deceased was the son of Durgapu Gangadhar and Lakshmi. Gangadhar works as an RMP in Manchiryala. His elder son, a degree student lives with him. Jagadeesh used to live in Jagityala with his mother. Their family celebrated Dussehra festival at Manchiryala. On Tuesday, Jagadeesh and his brother reached Jagityala as the school was to reopen.

On Wednesday night, Jagadeesh bunked school on the pretext of having stomach pain and went to purchase diesel in the petrol bunk. Later, he went to the district headquarters and immolated himself. Immediately, he screamed out of injuries and when the locals reached the spot, they found him dead. They informed the police and found a cell phone, two notebooks with him. They later informed his family members and based on a complaint given by Gangadhar, the cops started probing the incident.
