Srikalahasti Couple Driven To Suicide By Debts: Police

Srikalahasti: Muni Kumar (40) and his wife Madhavi (38) hailing from local Karnala street committed suicide owing to financial distress. Muni Kumar was working as a Dhol instructor in the local music college.

The couple is survived by two children Muni Sravani(15) and Muni Sai (12).They quarreled frequently and also underwent counseling according the police.

They also added that Madhavi was staying at her mother's place and was called on the pretext of Kumar’s brother’s wedding. It is said that Muni Kumar has run into a deep financial crisis and is not able repay his debts.

Another angle to the suicide is that the brother whose wedding Madhavi had come to attend had a case filed against him by Madhavi for misbehaving with her daughter, said police.
