Eluru: "I'll make sure you can't work here; I will finish you," said AMC chairman in his alleged threat to an estate woman officer. A fierce argument reportedly took place between them on Sunday in the market. The farmers and the estate woman officer argued with each other and they informed AMC Chairman Pujari Niranjan who came to the spot. "Why are you bothering the farmers always", he is said to have asked the woman.

Estate official Sri Latha claimed that the farmers were harassing her repeatedly. The AMC chairman came to the woman with his followers to warn her. Sri Latha informed the local police who reached the place.

Sri Latha said, "The farmers who belong to a community are harassing me to sanction the vegetable shops as per their wishes. They are planning to transfer me for doing my job sincerely. He doesn't know how to speak with a woman. He threatened me of dire consequences and some of the farmers gathered in a group and began harassing me," she alleged.

According to AMC Pujari Niranjan, the market has been set up the welfare system for the farmers. Recently, the farmers had complained me that the woman is harassing her and he also asked an explanation, we will take action against the woman if it is proved that the woman committed the crime.
