Prakasham Woman Commits Suicide

Markapuram: A woman committed suicide by hanging herself on Thursday under the police station limits of Thotavari street, Markapuram. Her husband Uppalapati Pullaiah works as a technical officer at the local irrigation department. The family members learned of the matter and informed the police.

According to the police, Pullaiah and Sri Lakshmi got married 23 years ago. The couple had two children. The victim's father Srinvasulu complained that his daughter committed suicide due to the harassment of Pullaiah. The police filed a case and shifted the body to a hospital for postmortem.

Driven To Suicide By Depression

Ullagallu: In a similar incident, Induri Ankamma (26) hanged herself on Thursday at Ullagallu, Mundlamundur mandal. Bapaiah and Ankamma got married 9 years ago and had two children. On Wednesday night, the couple had an argument and a depressed Ankamma committed suicide. The police filed a case and a probe is on.
