Tamilnadu: A woman frustrated and depressed over not having children, committed suicide. Sidharth is a Tamil film actor who appeared in actor Aadhi's Yagavarayanum and Nakokka films. Siddharth and Smirija got married 3 years ago and have no children. On Monday night, the couple went to a restaurant for dinner and returned home.

It is learned that the couple had an argument after returning from the restaurant. Smirija closed the bedroom door, while Siddharth slept outside. Next day morning, when he knocked on the door, there was no response. Suspecting something amiss, he informed Madhuravayil police. The police broke the door open and found the dead body of Smirija hanging to a fan. The police filed a case and started probing the matter. The body has been shifted to Keelpakkam hospital for autopsy.

Tirupathi: In a tragic incident, A TTD contract labourer, Gangadhar committed suicide over financial problems. He hanged himself in his house. The family members rushed him to the hospital but he died while undergoing the treatment. His mother, who was unable to come to terms with her son's death, hanged herself in the hospital area.
