Hyderabad: Task Force of the City's West Zone police today nabbed two persons of an inter-state gang that is involved in cheating 20 people who were looking to get admission into several medical colleges in Karnataka. According to the police, the gang collected Rs 60 lakh from each of the 20 victims by promising admission into medical colleges. An amount of Rs 24,96,250, certificates and fake ID cards were recovered from the accused.
Claiming to be working for Sky Bridge Infotek Consultants, the accused cheated the victims by promising them medical seats in Bengaluru. After the victims found out that they were cheated, they approached the police.
