Cop Harasses Wife For Questioning Extra Marital Affair

Manuguru: A police officer (SI) has landed himself in trouble after a video of him beating up his wife and mother in law mercilessly went viral. The Munuguru SI is seen thrashing his wife and his mother-in-law. He attacked them and severely beat up the women.

According to the victims, in 2015, Parveen and Manuguru SI Jitender married at a registered office at Khammam. The couple also has a eight- month-old baby. Jitender refused to allow entry of Parvaan after she delivered a baby boy.

Parveen, her mother, Women's Association and other relatives went to Jitender's house to demand justice. An exasperated Jitender attacked his wife and mother-in-law. Both were severely injured during the attack. "Jitender has an extramarital affair, he is also asking for a divorce," alleged the relatives.

The victim filed a case against Jitender at Manuguru Police station. CI Kondra Srinu told Sakshi that the case will be investigated based on the complaint given by the victim.
