Drunk Man Kills Daughter-In-Law, Poisons Himself To Death In Nandyala

Kurnool: An alcoholic father-in-law killed his daughter-in-law and later committed suicide. The incident happened here on Tuesday at Yallur village of Gospadu mandal.

According to CI Yugandhar, Nannuri Ramudu's (60) son Srinivasulu got married to Jyothi (30) 11 years ago. The duo had no children. On Tuesday, a drunk Ramudu hit Jyothi when Srinivasulu was not at home. Due to heavy injury on her head, she died on the spot. Later fearing arrest, Ramudu consumed poison and committed suicide.

One year back, Ramudu lost his life and tall the family members were daily wage labourers. The bodies have been shifted to Nandyala government hospital for postmortem. The police has filed a case and started investigation.
