Meerut: A ghastly incident that involved the murder of a 22-year-old girl came into light on Saturday, after neighbours of father-son duo Chaman and Suraj, residents of Timkikya village here in Uttar Pradesh, found the dead body under a heap of manure. According to reports, the deceased was living at her parents' house in the village, after getting divorced from her husband. Enraged over rumours of the girl's extra-marital affair, the father and the son decided to kill her and to set the body on fire along with a mound of cow dung.
After a few locals found the girl's body in the dung, they immediately informed the police, who had taken Chaman and Suraj into custody. In no time into custodial investigation, they confessed to committing the murder.
