Police Rescue Kidnapped Boy Within 24 Hours

Hyderabad: The seven-year-old boy who was kidnapped yesterday at Secunderabad Railway station was traced and rescued by the Gopalapuram police here today. The police have traced and rescued the boy, Ayush within 24 hours of the boy being kidnapped from the railway station.

Sanju, the mother of boy, works as a sweeper had come to railway station along with her son to board the Danpur Express to reach Kanpur. While waiting at the railway station, the boy went missing at 9:30 AM. Immediately Sanju informed to the railway police.

The police checked the footage from over 40 CCTV cameras around the station. They found that the boy was leaving the station along with two women. The police came to know that women reached the station from Bollaram by RTC bus and traced the bus driver who identified the woman and informed the police. The woman boarded the bus from Indira Nagar in Alwal.

Finally, the police nabbed the women and rescued Ayush with the help of five teams and using local sources as well. They also rescued two other children who were earlier abducted. M Yadamma (21) and M Jaya (18) were arrested while one of the suspects Anjamma (25) is said to be absconding.
