Retired Cop Beats Wife To Death In City  

Hyderabad: A retired Sub Inspector allegedly beat his wife to death at their residence here on Monday. He later surrendered to the police at the Gachibowli police station. The accused was identified as Anjaneyulu Reddy (61).

According to the police, "The victim Srivani had an argument with her husband over an extramarital affair and also the misuse of his pension money." The police are investigating the case further.

The body has been sent to Osmania General Hospital for autopsy.
