TRS MP D Srinivas Son In Police Custody Over Sexual Harassment

Hyderabad: In connection with a case filed by Nizamabad Nursing home students who alleged sexual harassment by Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MP D. Srinivas's elder son Dharmapuri Sanjay, the police today took him into custody.

Last week, the nursing home students filed a case with Nizamabad police, who issued notices to Sanjay as per 41-CrPC (Criminal Procedure Code), following the High Court order.

On Sunday, Sanjay attended a 3-hour investigation session, after which he was arrested by the police. He was shifted to a local hospital for medical tests, following which was remanded to police custody after the police presented him before the judge.
