I Am Committing Suicide To Save Family Honour: Nursing Student

Mangalagiri: A nursing student commited suicide in Indira Nagar Of Mangalagiri town. According to sources, P Roja had been staying with her friend at a rented house for five months in Indira Nagar. She was pursuing her first year Msc Nursing at NRI college, Chinakakani.

She fell in love with a Guntur guy. it is learnt that both their parents rejected their marriage proposal. But the couple convinced their parents and got engaged a month ago. In the suicide note, she stated that her parents would lose respect in the society if she were to marry a guy from a different caste.

She also expressed regret over disappointing her parents and committed suicide. She asked her parents to ensure good education for her sister. The police filed a case based on the suicide note and began investigating. After the autopsy, the body was handed over to the family.
