Sri Gowthami Murder Plot: Cops Probe TDP Leader’s Bank Transactions

Narasapuram, West Godavari district: The sensational Sri Gowthami murder case seems to be riddled with twists and turns. With every passing day, new facts related to the case are coming to light. It is learnt that some critical facts related to the money involved in this hired killing, have now come to light.

The man alleged to have been behind the killing, Sajja Bujji, is reported to have assured the killers of "settling them" after the heinous deed is done. Moreover, he is alleged to have spent about Rs. 15 lakhs even before the murder was committed. Media reports quoting reliable sources state that police investigation has brought these and other facts to light.

Reports say that while the West Godavari police initially closed the case in a hasty manner, with the CB-CID getting into the picture and senior police officials monitoring the issue, the probe gathered momentum.

It is learnt that apart from spending Rs.1.70 lakhs on a car for the hired killers, the accused, Sajja Bujji and Bollampalli Ramesh also paid Rs. 15 lakhs. The money was drawn from two accounts in the Narasapuram branch of Canara Bank. The details relating to transactions in these accounts are being investigated by Palakollu Rural Circle Inspector, Rajini Kumar.

Media reports say that the murder was plotted in November last year and carried out as per plan, to make it look like an accident. It is learnt that the hired killers from Vizag, Pakala Sandeep, Kadiyam Durga Prasad and the driver, Lakshman are on the run and more details would emerge once they are arrested.
