Man Kills Himself After Getting Lovers Married

Hyderabad: In a bizarre incident straight out of films, a person committed suicide after getting a his friend married. The deceased Venkatesh (22) reportedly took the extreme step after considering the consequences of his action—getting his friends married.

According to police Venkatesh, was a native of Valigonda of Bhuvanagiri district and resident of Madhapur in city. He was working as a car driver in Izzatnagar near Madhapur. It is learned that his friend Mahesh, also a native of Valigonda had asked him to help him marry the girl of his choice.

In order to help his friend, Venkatesh took upon him the task of getting them married. But later, he started thinking about the reaction he would have to face from the girl's family. Fearing that it would land him in trouble, he hanged himself in his room at Madhapur. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
