Physiotherapist Breaks Child’s Leg During Treatment At Govt Hospital

Hyderabad: In a bizarre incident that took place at a Government Homeopathy Hospital in Ramanthapur, a doctor allegedly hurt a three year old child severely while providing treatment here today.

According to reports, Dr. Kiran Kumar accidentally twisted the child's leg while treating her for a minor injury. The child's parents were angry over this and staged a protest at the hospital premises.

The doctor was careless while treating our child, parents of the child alleged. Instead of taking care of him, the doctor has now referred a private hospital for treatment, they said. Even after we complained to the medical officer, no action has been taken, they added. It is learnt that a police complaint was lodged against the doctor.
